Our 90-minute Wellbeing in the Workplace presentations provide practical strategies for wellbeing and are designed to equip participants with the knowledge and tools to improve their mental health and foster a supportive environment.
Workshop topics
The 5 Ways to Wellbeing

5 Ways to Wellbeing’ introduces five simple and effective ways to improve your psychological and emotional health that are based on extensive international research. A healthy mind is just as important as a healthy body for your overall wellbeing. The 5 Ways include:
- Connect
- Be Active
- Keep Learning
- Be Aware and
- Help Others.
Setting Personal Boundaries
This covers strategies for maintaining healthy relationships through effective boundary setting.
This helps participants understand the importance of boundaries in preventing burnout and fostering respectful interactions.
Having Difficult Conversations with Someone in Distress
This covers techniques for effectively communicating and supporting individuals during challenging times. This equips participants with the skills to handle sensitive conversations and offer support to those in distress.
Participants receive a workbook which summarises the content of the workshop and provides exercises and examples for people to do in their own time.
By educating employees and community members, we empower them to contribute to a culture where mental health and wellbeing is openly discussed and prioritised. Momentum Mental Health’s Wellbeing Talks are an invaluable resource for any organisation looking to improve the wellbeing of their staff or themselves.

Feedback and evaluation of our talks
In early 2024, Momentum delivered a total of eleven (11) workshops to twenty-two (22) businesses. Momentum engaged with local champions to promote training in four geographical locations across three regions. A total of one hundred and eleven (111) people were trained.
- Chinchilla (28 people across 11 businesses)
- Tara (9 people across one organisation)
- Goondiwindi (54 people across 9 businesses)
- Toowoomba LGA (20 people across one organisation)
Of the 111 participants, a total of ninety-five (95) participants completed the evaluation. This is a response rate of 87.1%.
The participants were from a variety of organisations and industries, from health care to design and banking.
The average overall rating was 8.2 out of 10.
Feedback was very positive with 98% of respondents recommending the workshop to colleagues and 98% of respondents also recommended the workshop in general.
Thirty-five (35) respondents provided additional comments. These could be themed into three main groupings.
•Twenty-two (22) participants wrote a note of thanks or stated the presentation was great.
•Eight (8) participants provided comments relating to the value of the workshop in terms of usefulness and fulfillment. Five participants provided other feedback which was related to areas for improvement. These included more time for questions and answers or follow-up and more interaction as a group
