Qld Gives Family and Carers Program
Momentum Mental Health’s Family and Carers Program, proudly supported by Queensland Gives, is designed to empower families and carers with the knowledge, skills, and practical tools to enhance their wellbeing and the wellbeing of the people they care for.

Rooted in Momentum’s 5 Ways to Wellbeing framework, the program explores different topics in each session, focusing on social, spiritual, mental/emotional, and physical wellbeing. Participants will engage in both educational and practical activities, gaining insights into strategies that promote healthy relationships, self-care, mindfulness, and resilience.
Sessions are hands-on and interactive, offering opportunities to learn new skills, be aware of your own needs, connect with others, stay active, and help those around you. Each session is thoughtfully designed to balance learning and practice, giving carers and family members actionable tools to apply in their everyday lives.
By participating in this program, families and carers can strengthen their social connections, enhance emotional regulation, explore creative and physical activities, and foster a deeper sense of purpose and satisfaction in their roles. The program also provides a supportive space for sharing experiences, building community, and learning from others in similar circumstances.
Whether you are seeking practical strategies, personal development, or connection with others, the Family and Carers Program offers a welcoming and empowering environment that promotes holistic wellbeing for carers and the families they support.
